About Craig
With nearly 30 year’s experience as an Australian PGA Professional, teaching golf has always been a big passion and an essential part of my career.

From my first teaching position at Toa Payoh Driving range in Singapore I learnt the importance of good communication skills where English was very much the second language for my students. From Singapore I then became the first club Professional at North Stradbroke Island where my focus was to introduce members to the basics of the golf swing so as to make their game more enjoyable while improving their handicap. From North Stradbroke Island I spent a wonderful 12 years in Gladstone as Director of Golf and Head Professional. During this time was my first taste of introducing technology as a vital tool in teaching and club fitting. In 2014 I became the head Professional at Burleigh golf club until July 2022. During this time I enjoyed teaching private lessons, group clinics from beginners to the more advanced golfer.

The next chapter of my career is to become a golf teacher who after many years of experience is a teacher for all golfers. The use of good simple communication and understanding that all golfers learn differently and that their golf swing can be improved by the use of golf technology, videos, drills but remembering its different for each person.

My golf philosophy is simple -” improvement of golf comes from passion, enjoyment and practice.”
